  • Ridge Gourd
  • Grind Coconut & Coriander
  • Tomatoes

*********** Recipe steps************
Peel the Ridge Gourd.
Remove edges
In a pan, add oil
Add Ridge Gourd
Add Salt & Turmeric
Add Coriander (Dhania) Powder
Add Red Chilli Powder
Add Tomatoes
Add Grinded Coconut & Coriander Paste
Add water Cook for some time or 1 whistle in a cooker

Best served with ghee and chapatis/rotis, rice 🙂

How to Cook Perfect Rice in Pressure Cooker | బియ్యం, అన్నము | चावल

  • Preparation time: 35 minutes
  • Cooking time: 30 minutes
  • Serves: 1
  • Dish: Vegetarian

Recipe steps:

  1. Rinse 1 Cup Normal Rice (~ 150 grams, like Sona Masuri) 2-3 times in tap water.
  2. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
  3. Add 1 Cup Rice with 2 Cups Water for 1 person.
  4. Increase quantity in 1:2 ratio to serve more people.
  5. (Optional) Add water to the pressure cooker if you use a separate bowl for rice in the cooker.
  6. Place Rice bowl in the cooker and close it.
  7. Cook on low flame for about 20 minutes. No whistles necessary for the perfect rice.

Note: If you are in a hurry, rinse rice and cook in full flame for 3 cooker whistles. It takes about 20 minutes.

Recipe steps:

  1. Roast Moong Dal in Low Flame 1 Cup
  2. Add Roasted Moong Dal to Boiling Water 1 1/2 Cups
  3. Add Oil 1 tbsp
  4. Add Turmeric
  5. After Dal is half-cooked, add vegetables such as beans, tomato, and onion
  6. Add Salt
  7. Grind Green Chilies and Coriander and Mix with Dal (Low Flame)
  8. Add Tadka with Ghee to Dal
  9. Add Grated Fresh Coconut

Best served as a side dish, hot rice, and with rotis/chapatis. This recipe is good for senior citizens, the elderly, and kids, especially if they are sick. Both the young and the old will find the curry tasty and healthy 🙂
