Green Leaves Curry: Amaranth leaves gravy sauté | Soppu Saru | ಹರಿವೆ ಸೊಪ್ಪಿನ ಪಲ್ಯ | Harive Soppina Palya

Best served with chapati, roti, rice.

Recipe Steps:

  1. Rinse and clean green leaves thoroughly.
  2. Keep the ingredients handy – oil, chopped, sliced onion, Guntur red chilli powder, chopped green chilli, turmeric powder, salt.
  3. Add Salt.
  4. Add chopped green leaves.
  5. Add a pinch of turmeric.
  6. Add (naughty) tomato 🙂
  7. Add water as needed for gravy.
  8. Add Guntur red chilli powder.
  9. Stir and simmer on low flame for a few minutes.
  10. Test if it’s cooked by pressing a bit of a stem

Best served with chapati, roti, rice. Enjoy!
