Green Leaves Curry: Amaranth leaves gravy sauté | Soppu Saru | ಹರಿವೆ ಸೊಪ್ಪಿನ ಪಲ್ಯ | Harive Soppina Palya
Best served with chapati, roti, rice.
Recipe Steps:
- Rinse and clean green leaves thoroughly.
- Keep the ingredients handy – oil, chopped, sliced onion, Guntur red chilli powder, chopped green chilli, turmeric powder, salt.
- Add Salt.
- Add chopped green leaves.
- Add a pinch of turmeric.
- Add (naughty) tomato 🙂
- Add water as needed for gravy.
- Add Guntur red chilli powder.
- Stir and simmer on low flame for a few minutes.
- Test if it’s cooked by pressing a bit of a stem
Best served with chapati, roti, rice. Enjoy!
